Beyoncé fans have had it up to here with people talking during the Houston superstar’s Mute Challenge on her Renaissance World Tour – so much so, they’re taking action into their own hands.
In a now-viral video from Bey’s hometown concert on Sunday (September 24), a man screams “Woo!” following the singer’s request for a brief silence during her performance of “Energy” – and he was promptly smacked by a woman nearby who added, “Shut the fuck up!”
Luckily, he seemed to take it in stride.

Sunday was night two of Beyoncé’s Houston run. The first night, Megan Thee Stallion joined her fellow H-Town native on stage for their first-ever performance of their 2020 hit “Savage (Remix).”
At one point during their performance, Bey and Meg couldn’t help but show some love to one another.

“I want y’all to let us hear how proud you are,” Beyoncé said to the crowd. “Does she make you proud? She make me proud! I love you girl!”
“I love you Beyoncé!” Meg screamed back, struggling to contain her excitement as she let out a high-pitched shriek.
Meg wasn’t the only special guest to join Bey throughout her trek. Earlier this month, during her multi-night Los Angeles run, Kendrick Lamar surprised the crowd on the singer’s birthday.
The following week, Beyoncé took to Instagram to share footage of K.dot’s guest appearance and thanked him for joining her.
“Thank you again to the legend Kendrick Lamar for blessing the Renaissance World Tour,” she wrote next to footage of their performance together. “I deeply appreciate you. What an incredible experience. Respect, [bee emoji].”
Another memorable moment from the event came at the beginning when Diana Ross made a special appearance on stage to sing happy birthday to Beyoncé, who turned 42 that day, with assistance from the 70,000-plus people in attendance.
Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour is set to come to an end on October 1 in Kansas City, with other shows still to come in New Orleans.
The former Destiny’s Child star has been on the road since early May after kicking off the trek in Europe. The tour recently became the highest-grossing tour by a female act ever, raking in over $450million to surpass Madonna’s 2008 Sticky & Sweet Tour.
