Travis Scott’s ‘DAYS BEFORE RODEO’ Reaches No. 1 on Billboard 200 After 10-Yr Anniversary Re-release

Travis Scott’s decade-old mixtape DAYS BEFORE RODEO has formally hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking a major milestone for the Houston rapper. Initially launched in 2014, DAYS BEFORE RODEO has been celebrated for its transformative influence on hip-hop; its re-release in August 2024 solidified its standing because the highest-selling rap album of the 12 months.

The mixtape debuted on streaming platforms for the primary time on August 23, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 361,000 models. Following the cargo of its vinyl editions, it climbed to the highest spot in its fourth week of launch, racking up 156,000 album-equivalent models, a 1,295% enhance.

This marks Scott’s fourth consecutive No. 1, following Utopia (2023), Astroworld (2018), and Birds within the Entice Sing McKnight (2016). The re-release has reignited enthusiasm round tracks like “Mamacita” and “Don’t Play,” showcasing collaborations with artists like Younger Thug, Massive Sean, and The 1975.

Produced by Metro Boomin, Lex Luger, and Travis Scott, DAYS BEFORE RODEO‘s gritty, moody sound helped redefine hip-hop’s sonic panorama and established Scott as a trailblazer.
