Plies Sues Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, GloRilla, Soulja Boy – Producer Fires Again 

Plies has filed a lawsuit in opposition to Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, GloRilla and Soulja Boy, alleging all of them stole from his 2008 tune “Me & My Goons” with out his permission. 



The Florida rapper is suing for copyright infringement, claiming Meg and Glo’s summer time smash “Wanna Be,” incorporates components of his monitor. Plies can be suing Cardi B for showing on the remix.  



Satirically, Plies claims the “Wanna Be” trio was not the primary to jack his tune. That distinction went to the rapper with many Hip-Hop “firsts,” Soulja Boy, suing him over a decades-old monitor.  Based on Plies, the beat for Large Draco’s “Fairly Boy Swag” anthem can be taken from “Me & My Goons.” 



Meg’s Scorching Lady Productions and Soulja’s former imprint Collipark Productions are named as defendants within the lawsuit alongside Common Music Group, Collective Music Group and Interscope. Plies is in search of unspecified damages for the alleged unauthorized use of his tune.  



Nonetheless, Megan Thee Stallion’s producer disputes the claims, firing again on social media. “Wanna Be” producer LilJuMadeDaBeat claims Megan and GloRilla’s tune really samples Soulja’s “My Dougie,” which got here out in 2006, two years earlier than Plies’ “Me & My Goons.” 

“Large E the producer of “My Dougie” is credited on Wanna Be,” he tweeted. 

Moreover, the producer mentioned Soulja Boy’s “’Fairly Boy Swag’” is a remake of ‘My Dougie.’ He added, “Soulja Boy is on the My Dougie Remix. Me & My Goons actually not even the one for that Plies album.” 

Moreover, LilJu insists he’s sure Megan and Glo’s tune doesn’t pattern Plies. “I used to be there once they made the tune,” he said.
