Legends of Hip-Hop will rejoice the fortieth anniversary of the enduring movie Beat Avenue in grand type with a celebration on the Bethesda Theater.
On Saturday (December 28), The Nationwide Hip-Hop Museum (NHHM) will host the Hip-Hop Vacation Honors occasion from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on the historic Maryland theater.
“That is the fruits of 5 years of intense work to protect and set up Hip-Hop as America’s most necessary cultural export,” NHHM Founder Jeremy Beaver stated. “I can’t consider a greater place to carry our largest induction ceremony thus far.”

The night can pay tribute to a few of Hip-Hop’s most influential figures, inducting Kool Moe Dee, John “RAMO” Chartier, Robert “Lee” Taylor, Mr. Wave and The Treacherous Three. All of them had been featured in Beat Avenue.
