In response to a press launch, the sequence intends to have a good time the affect of leaders throughout the style of Hip-Hop whereas shinning a light-weight on its birthplace of New York Metropolis.
“Legend Has It… is devoted to celebrating and spotlighting among the most essential and influential Hip-Hop artists of all time,” it reads. “Trailblazers who’ve been instrumental in constructing and shaping the music and tradition and have taken it from the streets of New York Metropolis to the broader world leaving an indelible mark on music.”
Releases anticipated to be aside of the sequence embody a brand new album from Mass Enchantment Data co-founder Nas and celebrated producer DJ Premier, Ghostface Killah’s sequel to his 2000 basic, Supreme Clientele, and a brand new LP from Raekwon, Emperor’s New Garments. The sequence may even honor Prodigy and Trugoy the Dove with the primary Mobb Deep and De La Soul albums since their deaths.
