JAY-Z’s social justice group, Group Roc, is taking one other step within the mission to carry justice and transparency to the Kansas Metropolis legal justice system with the launch of a real crime podcast “Corruption Uncovered.”
The podcast, hosted by journalist Josie Duffy Rice, will study alleged misconduct, together with longstanding accusations of corruption within the Kansas Metropolis, Kansas Police Division (KCKPD).
“Corruption Uncovered” will probe the trial of former KCKPD detective Roger Golubski who confronted federal fees for extorting and raping Black girls and youngsters. Golubski was as a result of stand trial on Monday (December 1) however was discovered lifeless in an obvious suicide on the eve of his trial. A decide has now dismissed the case.
The podcast may also embrace interviews with survivors, impacted households, neighborhood members, attorneys and nationwide and native activists.
Group Roc shared a trailer for the podcast on Monday, together with snippets of interviews with Golubski’s alleged victims.

In the meantime, final month, JAY-Z and Group Roc, in partnership with the Midwest Innocence Venture, sued Kansas Metropolis. They filed a lawsuit searching for the discharge of police misconduct data, accusing metropolis officers of blocking entry to key paperwork.
Group Roc believes the paperwork may expose many years of abuse by members of the KCKPD.
