Hitman Holla Flexes Sizeable Income To Prove ‘Battle Rap Gets To The Bag’

Hitman Holla has had enough of the battle rap disrespect and flexed his six-figure bank account to show how underground rhymers can still secure the bag.

The Wild ‘N Out star took to social media earlier this week after hearing how some believe that commercial Hip Hop artists are the only ones running up their bank accounts.

“Tell SayCheese this ain’t battle rap from the early 2000s … We as a culture get to the bag now days,” he bragged. “Question.. is this my $ from MaxOut 1 2 or 3?”

The accompanying photo showcased a $456,000 money transfer on PayPal captioned: “Tell dem hating n-ggas to hate harder!”

Battle rapper Calicoe also came to battle rap’s defense and clowned those who thought their checks couldn’t measure up to mainstream rhymers while jabbing Key Glock in the process.

“Imagine thinking battle rappers don’t make more money a show than some of your favorite rappers,” he wrote. “Imagine not knowing that EAZY [The Block Captain] prolly make more money for 9 mins of rap than Key Glock can get 4 a 50 min show. Imagine thinking ‘real rappers’ got some money.”

Akademiks reposted Hitman Holla’s post and some fans were skeptical of his comments while others saw it as feasible.

“Then why ain’t my n-gga supa hot fire ain’t ballin, drip still the same since 06,” one person joked, while another said: “Imagine pulling out your savings to prove a point.”

There was a fan who agreed: “Top tier battle rappers with big name’s definitely get a decent bag. Battle rap leagues like URL and RBE be cutting checks for the top tier talent.”

In other Hitman Holla news, he’s bringing in another check for his Bags and Bodies show which is nearly done with the first season and finds aspiring battle rappers facing off for a grand prize of $50,000.
