Drake and SZA have finally teamed up for their first-ever collaboration with “Slime You Out” — check it out below.
After being announced earlier this week, the BNYX and Noah “40” Shebib co-produced single — which will land on For All the Dogs — hit streaming services at noon ET on Friday (September 15).
The 6 God is back in his R&B bag and shines with his second verse where he uses the months of the year to seamlessly weave his stream of consciousness.
“Yeah, January, you pretend to see life clearly, yearly/ February is the time that you put the evil eye and the pride aside/ For the fantasy of gettin’ married, very scary/ March got you already second guessin’ titles/ April, Spring is here and just like a spring you start to spiral/ May brings some warmer days,” he raps.
Drake then shouts out Quality Control Music and brags about how he’s brought in millions of dollars for the label between collabs and tours.
“Shout to QC, pretty sure I made P Ms like it’s past noon/ All I really know is Ws and Ms, life lookin’ like a bathroom/ All I really know is M bags, like I drove through and ordered fast food,” Drizzy rhymes.
For the “Slime You Out” cover art, Drake opted to use a 2012 photo of actor Halle Berry being slimed at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. The single will land on Drizzy’s For All the Dogs album, which arrives on September 22.
Although this will mark their first official collaboration, Drake and SZA are no strangers. In October 2020, the OVO rapper had the internet going nuts after he claimed that he dated the New Jersey native back in the day.

SZA initially responded by unfollowing Drake on Instagram, before confirming days later that they did indeed have a brief fling.
She also clarified a minor detail that Drake had apparently got wrong and shut down speculation that she was underage at the time.
“So it was actually 2009 lol,” she tweeted. “In this case a year of poetic rap license mattered. Lol I think he jus innocently rhymed 08 w wait. Anybody who really knows me and was around during this time can confirm.. it’s all love all peace.”
She added: “I just didn’t want anybody thinking anything underage or creepy was happening. Completely innocent. Lifetimes ago.”
