Drake Roasted For ‘Zesty’ New Rainbow Hairstyle

Drake was spotted rocking a new look during a night out in Texas, prompting mostly negative reviews by social media users.

The 6 God was spotted at a club in Houston this weekend, and his appearance immediately stood out to those who have been following his aesthetic transformation over the past few months.

In a photograph taken with a fan, Drizzy was seen wearing several hair clips atop his head that created a rainbow-like pattern. A range of reactions followed as soon as the image went live.

“Drake dresses like the rich kid you knew growing up, who was allowed to chose the clothes he wore,” one person commented under a 2cool2bl0g repost of the image, while another added: “That mane Trolling at this point.”

“This zesty behavior has no place in hiphop, first the nails now this smh dudes practically a woman,” an Instagram user wrote, blatantly criticizing Drake for not abiding by traditional standards of masculinity.

Drake’s hairstyle has gone through numerous transformations in recent years, from having a Certified Lover Boy heart shaved into his once-signature fade to rocking cornrows for the first time in his career, but his latest hairdo might be the boldest one yet.

Last month, the 36-year-old turned heads when several photos emerged of him wearing his afro in two buns held in place by pink hair clips.

He initially sported the hairstyle during a night out at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood in mid-August before rocking it again while visiting Kevin Durant at an off-season basketball workout the following day.

He paired his eye-catching coiffure with an early 2000s-inspired outfit comprised of a blue FUBU T-shirt, baggy stonewash jeans and Timberland-brown sneakers.

It wasn’t long before Drake’s new look caught the attention of the internet, leading to a barrage of jokes comparing him to Minnie Mouse.
