Drake Accused Of Shading Megan Thee Stallion During Houston Concert

Drake has been accused of shading Megan Thee Stallion during a recent tour stop in her hometown of Houston.

The 6 God pressed pause on his concert briefly on Monday (September 18) to show love to a local photographer, The Megan, whom he’s worked with since the genesis of his career.

The Take Care hitmaker made sure to clarify he was talking about another Megan since he was in Houston and some believed it could’ve been Megan Thee Stallion, which some fans took as a shade toward the “Savage” rapper.

“I gotta give a shoutout to somebody in here. That’s been with me since the beginning of her career. Her name is Megan,” Drake told the crowd. “Meg something, Meg Luck — whatever you know her as.

“She been here with me since day one — real shit, like built this ship with me. Real H-Town love shoutout to Meg one time for real. Not that Meg, this Meg.”

The Megan couldn’t even enjoy receiving her flowers from Drake as haters filled her replies on Twitter. The photographer clapped back on Wednesday (September 20) explaining why Drizzy clarified his statement.

“He was CLARIFYING for the slow ones in the back such as yourself,” she responded to a critic. “People don’t know who I am like that. They hear Megan & H-Town legend and clearly would think of her. It’s not a hard concept.”

Regardless, some fans of the Houston Hottie didn’t want to hear it as they slammed Drake for the remark in her hometown.

“What the fuck is Drake’s problem? His bitch ass always got this weird animosity and obsession with having one sided beef with black women like leave Megan and Halle Berry tf alone,” one person wrote to Twitter. 

Another added: “Drake came to Houston and tried to sneak diss Megan. He really a rap girl fr.”

Although, there were others who had Drake’s back: “This is what all the hoopla is about?? Y’all need to touch grass. I don’t think it was that deep. Megan has been down with Drake for over a decade.”

Megan Thee Stallion and Drake have an icy relationship at best. Some thought he had Her Loss bars dissing Meg in regards to the Tory Lanez 2020 shooting on “Circo Loco.”

However, Meg deaded the idea last November, urging listeners to “stop attaching weak ass conspiracy theories in bars to my name.”
