Layzie Bone has broken his silence and sent out a heartfelt message to those who’ve been supporting Bone Thugs-N-Harmony amid Krayzie Bone’s current health scare.
On Tuesday (September 26), the legendary Cleveland MC took to Instagram and uploaded a picture of his group members Wish Bone, Flesh-n-Bone, himself, and Krayzie Bone.
He then shared his thoughts on the love the group has received from fans, friends, and family members alike.
“In this challenging moment, as the immediate and Bone thugs family rallies behind my brother, we humbly ask for a moment of privacy,” he said. “Our family is facing the unexpected hospitalization of Krayzie Bone with strength, and your prayers are a beacon of hope.
“Soon, we’ll share an update, but for now, let us come together and keep our love and thoughts focused on his recovery. Your support means the world to us, and we truly appreciate your understanding during this time.”
On Monday (September 25), Krayzie Bone was hospitalized for a serious cardiovascular condition.
According to multiple reports, the Cleveland rap legend was admitted to the hospital in Los Angeles, California on Friday (September 22) after coughing up large amounts of blood.

After Krayzie underwent a CAT scan, doctors apparently discovered an artery was leaking inside one of his lungs. The 50-year-old then underwent immediate surgery, but the bleeding didn’t stop.
Krayzie Bone, whose real name is Anthony Henderson, has since been sedated and placed on a breathing machine.
The rapper suffers from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease in which the immune system overreacts, causing groups of cells to form clusters of inflamed tissue called “granulomas” in one or more organs of the body.
According to the American Lung Society, sarcoidosis most commonly affects the lungs and lymph nodes, and can be life-threatening if it progresses to heart or severe lung disease.
As news of his hospitalization spread, prayers and well wishes have poured in from across the Hip Hop community.
“Pray 4 Kray,” fellow Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member Bizzy Bone wrote on his Instagram Stories on Sunday (September 24). “Can’t sleep. Sometimes you just gotta pray.”
Fellow Cleveland native Kid Cudi tweeted: “Prayin for you Kray [prayer hands emoji] [heart emoji],” while Three 6 Mafia‘s Juicy J added: “Prayers up for Krayzie Bone.”
NBA superstar and former Cleveland Cavalier LeBron James also offered his support by tweeting: “[prayers] to Krayzie man!!!!”
Krayzie Bone’s health scare comes shortly after a career highlight for both himself and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, who were honored with their own street in their hometown of Cleveland last month.
